Dxtory / Random Storage Drive - Samsung F3 1TB or Samsung F4 2TB?

Thread Starter
I'm wondering which of those two HDDS would be better for recording with the program Dxtory, if they aren't relatively the same. I was thinking of recording BF3 and other games at 1080p at 30fps with lagarith loseless codec. If you know which would preform better and by around how much please tell me. smile.gif

Edit: I just heard how the new Samsung HDDs aren't as good due to being bought out by seagate?

I haven't heard about the quality going down, but in any case it really depends on how much speed the program use.

The difference between them is that the F3 is 7200RPM and the the F2 5400 RPM. I would get the F3 since the F4 is best suited for storage.

I would also like to note that you should keep BF3 directory and output directory of recording apps on different drives to maximize speed.
