120mm on 140mm?

I'm trying to get a 140mm PWM fan, but it seems as if all of them have 120mm mounts. Can i mount them anyway? This is getting a bit frustrating as I'm not sure why they all go with the 120mm mount..

So something like these:
http://www.amazon.com/Scythe-Stream-140mm-120mm-Mount/dp/tech-data/B0032A0QDQ
http://www.amazon.com/Thermalright-TY-140-140mm-160mm-PWM/dp/B00429TWM2

They all have the 120mm mount, but are 140mm fans. My case is made for a 140mm fan

Don't get a 120mm mount fan for a 140mm, it will not fit.

Thanks, any options out there for a 140mm PWM fan?

what case do you have? Many cases accept both 120mm and 140mm mounting patterns.

Haven't used any of these, but here's a few...Akasa Apache, Akasa Viper, Deep Cool UF140, Phobya Nano-G14.

My noctua fans both have 120mm and 140mm mount.

on fractal cases the front 140mm can only be box chassis because of the attaching mechanism.
but a lil more info from the OP would be better, than i want this.... but it wont fit!
