I thought Alpenfohn was original. Others are rebrands.

Alpenföhn/EKL is Deep Cools biggest partner in the desktop market, at least in Europe they have a decent chunk of the market.
So they design and manufacture Alpenföhn coolers like the K2, Matterhorn, Peter etc according to their wishes for the european market and then sell these products in the rest of the world as Deep Cool or Logisys or whatever. So the K2 IS the original.

Vid is fine, although I wouldn't be fingering the cpu contact plate biggrin.gif
I was interested to see the little differences between it and the K2. Quite surprised at the height of the 612, or was that because it had the bracket fitted?

Were those tests done at max rpm for all fans/configurations?

Oh, just thought I'd share my 24hr old Alpenfohn K2 if that's cool (geddit? tongue.gifrolleyes.gif)

The rear grill will probably be cut out at some point.

Even without the bracket the 612 is a tinny bit taller still. lol I didn't even pay attention to it still having the bracket.

Looks like a reiteration of the Alpenfohn K2 Mount Doom... Owned it thumb.gif and is inferior in performance to the Phanteks. Interested in seeing test results of the Assassin though
