The race between the world thinnest smartphones will never stop, but what I am going to show your today is not only the thinnest smartphone ever, it's probably the strongest thinnest device on planet Earth. Behold, the Oppo Finder it's only 6.65mm thick, making it the world's thinnest smartphone at the moment.

This phone's been out for like a month or two, but I haven't seen any post about it yet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The irony is that this phone looks very similar to the upcoming iPhone5 (according to some recent photos), yet it's out before the iPhone5 does. But still, it looks like some kid from the other block is interested in Apple's patent bullets. biggrin.gif

The specs is actually pretty good for it's price. kinda makes me want to get one, since I couldn't afford anything like the S3 or the One X. What are your thoughts?

$620 for a cell phone? eek.gif

I could build an entire HTPC for that and still have enough for a Nokia 6100.
I can't see spending more than $200 for a phone.

China is known for knocking off US products. This is a perfect example. As far as I know there are numerous iPhone knockoffs available for sale there, none of the manufacturers of which have been sued by Apple (for reasons I do not know, perhaps due to China's IP protection laws)

An unlocked Galaxy S3 is $625

With a 2 yr data plan, I'm sure the price would be lower.

How does this look like a knock off? Just because it has an aluminum bezel? If you took the time to actually look at the pictures of the phone, the back looks nothing like an iphone.

Or are you assuming this is a knock off just because its Chinese?

Besides if you actually use a fake iphone in public here you're going to get laughed to hell and back.
