I bought CM Storm Speed-RX (Large) and tested the mouse surface with CM Strom Spawn...
The advertisement says that CM Storm Speed-RX uses synthetic mesh that is comprised of nano fibers that are specifically designed for high-end gaming grade optical sensors, but works equally well with laser sensors.
The quality of the mouse surface is at the highest level!
However, the results of the test I was very disappointed...
Judge for yourself.
Enotus Mouse Test v0.1.4
Resolution: 800 dpi
Polling speed: 983-992 Hz
Firmware 30a
Max speed: 1.66 m/s (52375 points/s)
Precision: 99.7 % (0.07 m/s)
LOD: ~1.5-2 mm
Firmware 31
Max speed: 1.75 m/s (55173 points/s)
Precision: 99.5 % (0.11 m/s)
LOD: ~1.5-2 mm
Firmware 32
Max speed: 2.45 m/s (77037 points/s)
Precision: 99.8 % (0.12 m/s)
LOD: ~1.5-2 mm
Firmware 60
Max speed: 2.74 m/s (86378 points/s)
Precision: 99.9 % (0.11 m/s)
LOD: ~3-3.5 mm
Firmware 61
Max speed: 3.04 m/s (95853 points/s)
Precision: 99.7 % (0.13 m/s)
LOD: ~3 mm
And the strangest thing - there is a failure when the cursor is not very fast motion, especially on the diagonal... It jumps...
It jumps when I have used all tested firmwares...

For example, to compare the test firmware 61 on the mouse surfaces:
CM Storm CSX Battle Pad DP
Max speed: 5.36 m/s (168708 points/s)
Precision: 99.8 % (0.17 m/s)
Or SteelSeries NP+
Max speed: 5.51 m/s
Precision: 100% (0.16 m/s)
No disruption cursor!!!
What does it mean - specifically designed for high-end gaming grade optical sensors?! In fact, CM Storm Spawn with high-end gaming grade optical sensors does not work on CM Storm Speed-RX, but works fine on a previously released CM Storm CSX Battle Pad DP.
P.S.: Mionix Naos 5000 and SteelSeries XAI feel great on CM Storm Speed-RX...
And finally, I posted this information on http://www.cmstorm.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?33-CM-Storm-Padz, that the manufacturer has taken steps to correct his mistakes, but instead it when I logged on today on their forum I received vBulletin Message: You have been banned for the following reason: No reason was specified. Sorry for my English.
