Asus mobo game installation problems

I just got a Motherboard back from repair after waiting 2 months because it was faulty. I plugged all the sata drives into it, created a raid0 config and installed the windows drivers. Then I tried to install batman on the raid0 config and it worked fine. It took forever to install (about 20mins per disk) and when I opened it I almost died waiting for the game to load. After the second time opening the game it said files not found. I reinstalled it. Then it started telling me "read error". 

 

Do you think this means one of my disks is dieing after 12h in use or do you think this is a broken sata or raid controller?

 

If I disable RAID and try each ssd out to see which one's broken do i have to install windows new? (I read if you install ahci drivers after windows you must install windows again)

The board is a f1a75

I haven't had very much luck yet because it seems like the 3. broken component is coming

I'm not that affluent with SSDs, but if you have another PC around with SATA connection test each SSD induvidually by writing it FULL of data either by using linux or winhex in Windows. I am sure there are other "filler" programs aswell. If the drive gets written FULL it's okay(usually).

If all drives check out OK with 100 % pass it's the controller on your motherboard.

I don't have any other pcs arround but i installed the game on each ssd in ide mode and it worked fine so i have the feeling my 2. mainboard is off to repair.

raid and ahci are almost the same except raid supports the striping etc. My point is it works without the raid but as soon as the onboard raid controller gets involved the game runs into errors.

no you can run rais under achi and I learn this the hard way when I got my 180gig ssd and loaded Skyrim on it and had my hdd in raid mode with my ssd
