I've heard the Samsungs are, but I can't complain at all with my 256GB M4, when I got it the price / GB was insane (and I'm more than happy w/ the performance).
You can get them now for even less, B&H has them for $170, I think the 128s are around $100 or so, but I've seen them go on sale for as little as $85.

EDIT: Just noticed you're in UK, sorry - I've no idea the price difference b/t the two there redface.gif

Looking on Amazon.co.uk, the Samsung 830 is £78, whereas the M4 is £83 for the 128GB models.

These prices seem to be identical to ebuyer.

Both are great drives so it's really up to you. thumb.gif

Is there any significant difference between them?

perhaps in benchmarks, but in real world uses, no differences.

In my opinion, and from my experiences, I barely notice any difference betwen my m4 and even my ocz vertex 2. SSD are all just that good.

So, get which ever is cheapest from M4, Samsung 830, Intels.

For reliability, between the Samsung, Plextor M3 and the Crucial M4 there shouldn't be much difference. Obviously don't go OCZ for reliability.

They are both reliable. Given the fact that 830 is a little cheaper, and a little better, it is a way to go.
