Same as on any other card. There are three small current sense resistors that either need to be removed or shorted.

After I get some blocks I'll be testing out how the classy does with 1.5+v.

Are you getting high temps on the pwm at the 1.3 -1.35v you have now? Also I thought you were running 3 of those classifieds and not 4.... I am just trying to get some idea whether I would be good with universal blocks for my 4 classifieds ...

So what is your max 4 way sli stable clock speed?

Does it look like you could put a universal block on while keeping the stock heat spreader on the vrm and memory?

Got any pics where those sensors are we need to short?

Oh and how is your 3 and 4 way scaling?

Working on all of this. I'm making an assumption that better cooling on the pwm would be beneficial with more voltage in the cards. You could use air, but I'm not going to. I had three, picked up one more. I actually need to find another dual 8 pin pcie rail before I can hook up all 4... I'm out of the ones my coolermaster silent pro hybrid 1300 came with because the Rampage IV Extreme eats up power connectors, and so does 4 graphics cards with dual 8 pin power on each tongue.gif

Yeah that is why I am going to run a corsair 1000w and 1050w dual psu set up , thankfully my blackhawk ultra case can hold both with no issues ...

Great to hear that you have a 4th , now there are I think 3 or 4 people (including myself I have heard with this setup smile.gif ) , was very tempted by 3 with HC for similar price of 4 with out HC but unless I do the mod to bypass over current protection I think the universal blocks will be enough.

BTW in case you did not see my question did it look like you could fit a universal block on over the stock heat plate? (I am not ready to take the cards apart yet and need to see if I should buy more copper heat sinks smile.gif

Sorry I have not even tested a single 1 yet (funny cause I tested all my lightnings within hours of recieving them...

I am being held up by the need to choose new ram , got any advice? as once I make that choice I can get to the cards LOL thumb.gif

I am upgrading from 16gb 2000mhx 1.65v ram and choosing between

8 x 4gb 2133

or

4 x 8 gb 1866

and my main concern is that my choice does not negatively affect my 3930 oc which is 5.0ghz at 1.45v core daily smile.gif
So got any suggestions on the ram??? (32gb is because 16gb gets eaten up QUICKLY in adobe premiere pro and after affects , not for epeen LOL )

Edit: decided on a set of ram FINALLY so on to the GPU, hope to have something to report either tonight or tomorrow smile.gif

Re applied thermal compound on all my classys last night and temps dropped a good 5-7*C under load. Ran a few quad sli benches and broke 13,000X with a small OC. Can't wait to get home from work and do some moar. smile.gif

My memory was only stable up to about +325 witht he aircooler, then +400 with the full waterblock. Now with more voltage to the ram, I am safely at +500,

biggrin.gif was just funning

I can get the one cards rams to run +600 thuo it stops helping around +460.I do have oc card so its slower from the start clocks wise.
My funs all over aroud 1450 for any type of gaming clocks but i can run benches around 1475, max on dice (-20c only)1550 was ok np
thing is the card would bang in to and out of low power 3d voltage alot and was just a true pita, even the stock asus ref handled -40c with no issues
No matter i like the older 3d benches not 3d11 so much which is good since it dont like me either.
its not that great in 3d dx9 or dx10 benches so i got a coupple of gaming cards now redface.gif

Yes I know, I get no video, and 100% fan speed i borked it.
I need to get one thing straight though. I was called a NOOB and an IDIOT on these forums, I AM NOT A NOOB.
