Build Half Finished - Need Advice

Hey friends. I've ordered about half the parts for my gaming pc build (first timer) and need some advice on the remaining parts. So far I've got:

Case: Corsair Obsidian 550D

CPU: Intel i7 3770k

SSD: 256GB Crucial m4

Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance low profile

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

The case is designed to be super quiet so it will probably run a little hotter and it is also a midsize tower. I am not sure what z77 motherboard I should get or what GTX 680 I should get. I think I will be getting a Seasonic x660 power supply for it's quietness and efficiency (gold rated = less heat right?). The GTX 680s from EVGA are all similar in price so logically it would make sense to get the highest overclocked one, but I don't know what kind of noise and heat the more powerful ones put out. I also don't know if I need a liquid cu cooler? I don't plan on overclocking anytime soon. Thoughts?

p.s. Also need a mouse/keyboard/monitor. Was looking at the Corsair K90 keyboard and M90 mouse.

For GTX 680:

1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127693 - $100 Extra.

2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125422 - $25 Extra.

3. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130797 - $25 Extra + EVGA.

Get one with a good cooler on it, so it doesn't overheat on low fan settings.

Are there any reviews on those cards that talk about the heat and noise? I'd like scientific data if possible not just hearsay. I'm concerned that the cards with multiple fans though keeping the gnu cool will blow heat into the case.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_670_Direct_Cu_II/27.html

seems far and away the quietest high end card. techpowerup is the best source for gpu reviews, its just a shame that dont publish more detailed information on noise/temp ratios
