Greedy states, IL expects you to pay the difference in state sales tax, say if you go to Wisconsin and bought tires at 5.43% and live in IL which is 8.27%, You now owe IL the difference 2.84% which is to be paid when you file your taxes.

If you get caught bringing more than 8 packs of cigarettes from Missouri into Arkansas it's a felony thumb.gif

This really blows... I make a lot of my school purchases threw amazon because tax would normally be 30-50 dollars total in supplies. Love their Prime shipping so might stick threw it but will still find another place to buy from. mad.gif

I used Amazon pretty exclusively to get out of the 8% surcharge California has in place. It looks like I won't be using Amazon anymore. At least about only as often as I use Newegg now. I'll have to find other sources to get my parts.

Oh well. This is just another reason for me to move out of Cali after college.
