I recently bought the Steelseries 6G v2 Red Edition, and I like it. Much better than my old Logitech G510. It should, however, be noted that this keyboard is also my first mechanical keyboard, so whether or not you deem my input reliable, is up to yourself.
You should be aware that they have changed the layout of some buttons as shown
here. At least this is what the Nordic layout looks like. I don't know if there is a specific US version.
As you are most likely aware of, the Cherry MX Red switch is a linear switch that is very light and offers no tactile feedback. For this reason, it is said that one might experience a higher rate of typos. Personally, yes, I do make typos, but not more than on my old keyboard. I'm guessing I would experience less typos on a keyboard with blue or brown switches (honestly, I am slightly tempted to buy a Das Keyboard Ultimate

), but generally, this is not much of a problem.
So anyway, just coming in here to say that I have the Red edition of the Steelseries 6G v2 and I enjoy using it.
