Title says it all.
I currently own a Filco with blues and I'm looking for a keyboard with MX red switches. Looking at Leopold right now. Any suggestions?

I'd say go either Filco or Leopold for build quality, you can't beat it. If the layout isn't much of an issue you could go for a Nopoo Choc Mini with Reds

I went with the Rosewill red Cherry edition and the build quality is outstanding (Filco branding). I got it for 80$ shipped and I believe it was 64$ shipped a couple weeks ago (only USA though mad.gif). The only bad thing about it is the removable cable, although it rocks for lan transport and such, it just seems to weak it could break. If you know your way with a soldering iron, that won't be a probem.

Cm Storm QuickFire w reds. Awesome board at a much better price than the filcos. And essentially the same build quality since they are both costar boards.

I recently bought the Steelseries 6G v2 Red Edition, and I like it. Much better than my old Logitech G510. It should, however, be noted that this keyboard is also my first mechanical keyboard, so whether or not you deem my input reliable, is up to yourself.

You should be aware that they have changed the layout of some buttons as shown here. At least this is what the Nordic layout looks like. I don't know if there is a specific US version.

As you are most likely aware of, the Cherry MX Red switch is a linear switch that is very light and offers no tactile feedback. For this reason, it is said that one might experience a higher rate of typos. Personally, yes, I do make typos, but not more than on my old keyboard. I'm guessing I would experience less typos on a keyboard with blue or brown switches (honestly, I am slightly tempted to buy a Das Keyboard Ultimate wink.gif), but generally, this is not much of a problem.

So anyway, just coming in here to say that I have the Red edition of the Steelseries 6G v2 and I enjoy using it.

I currently own a Filco with MX Blues. I was looking for a keyboard in red mainly for gaming. I was not aware Steelseries made a Mx Red board. I'll definitely look into that. Thanks.

This is my main choice right now.
