Just got my Nixeus Vue today... I did a quick check and the panel was flawless and had very minor if not barely noticeable backlight bleed... My samsung was 1680x1050 (16:10) and I was hesitant at first to go for a 16:9 monitor, but I wasn't going to pay $1000+ for a 30" 16:10,,, - After turning on this puppy the visuals and colors is just wow... I'm just praying my Saphirre AMD 7850 can handle it for Guild Wars 2...wackosmiley.gif

When I was playing last night it ran pretty smooth - I have everything on Ultra except I turned of MSAA (look at one of my pics of BF3 resolution settings). I'll run benchmarks tonite and post the results here for you.

The speakers are okay and loud, it does it's job but the sound quality is not as good as my Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers - Most of the time I am using my Turtle Beach Z6A headsets for gaming for 5.1 audio.

You going to look into removing the bezel? It's huge!

I don't think I am "Vega" enough yet - I'm still a pansy for custom stuff and overclocking my CPU and GPU - which is why I am here to learn and research... maybe when I pick up a second Nixeus Vue I'll give it a try to de-bezel this one so if I mess up I still have one as back up. The bezel is the same thickness as my i-INC 1920x1200, so it doesn't bother me and I am used to it...

The Gigabyte Windforce GTX 670 OC is perfect for 2560x1440 resolutions... check out the tests I ran just for you! thumb.gif
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I ran some benchmarks to see how my PC rig performed with the Nixeus Vue 27's 2560x1440p Resolution:
Here are my Resolution Settings on a full server for a 64 Player Operation Firestorm

I ran FRAPS 8 times while I was flying the jet - dog fighting and shooting at ground units (Yes I'm a decent jet pilot). I fly close to the ground and try to keep the same runs. These frames per second was replicated and consistent during my benchmark runs.

At 2560x1440p, Battlefield 3 really puts the GTX 670 to work as you can see the numbers on MSI Afterburner... BF3 chews up about 1.8GB worth of GPU Memory! If you are planning to purchase a 2560x1440 IPS monitor, you are definitely going to need a Graphics Card with at least 2GB of Memory!

I will update with more benchmarks of other games in my library...

I hope this answers alot of people's questions if their video card and rig can handle 2560x1440p resolutions! biggrin.gif
