lol, The company is aware of this trend in monitors and has a statement that overclocking will void the warranty. HOWEVER, it will do a max of 75Hz as reported by the AMD Catalyst. I do not know if that is in max resolution or not. So far I do not see any tearing and it is as smooth as my 24" monitors which are PVA panels.

A Nixeus Vue owner on another tech forum reported that he got it running smoothly at 75Hz!

Nixeus' warranty: "Having up to 3 Bright, 3 Colored (Stuck), or 5 Dark Pixel anomalies is considered normal and the monitor is not defective. " So, anyone know of a reseller of this monitor that has a better policy other then NCIXUSA's Zero Dead Pixel policy (out-of-stock/non-stocked item atm)? Would like to get one, but one stuck/bright pixel will drive me bonkers.

Hi Falknir,

Thank-you for your question. Our warranty regarding pixel anomalies meets or is better than 2010 ISO Standards for class 1 Retail LCD products.

Regarding pixel policy, if the monitor has more than 3 bright pixels, more than 3 stuck pixels, or more than 5 dark pixels that may occur during the 1 year warranty - we will issue warranty service or RMA service.

The A Grade was designated specifically to the LG IPS Panel batch used to manufacture the NX-VUE27. However, there are a majority of A+ panels in the batch, but we have to specify that they are A grade and adhere to ISO standards for Class 1 LCD panels even if a majority of the NX-VUE27 may have Class 0 LG IPS panels (Grade A+) installed.

Preimum brands such as Apple and Dell have purchased most of the available A+ Grade designated LG panel batches, which makes it difficult to obtain. However, A+ Graded LG Panels batches would require us to charge a 30% or more premium for the NX-VUE27.

Some of our Authorized Re-Sellers may have their own "value added" service and policies.

So who are your authorized retailers? Can we get Amazon and not someone through their marketplace? Their return policy is outstanding and I try to do business with them whenever possible.

Thank-you for your comments and suggestions. The current third party seller on Amazon and Comp-u-plus are reputable Authorized Re-Sellers and from my understanding they have excellent policies as well. They share our same values in providing excellent customer service.

At the moment, we are negotiating with our exisiting Authorized Re-Sellers and Amazon to provide customers with more purchasing options.

The speakers are loud but I was surprised at the sound quality. These are the best speakers coming from a monitor that I have ever heard. I for got that the sound signal was passed through the DisplayPort. So I hooked everything up, started Crysis2 and left after a few minutes I heard this sound from upstairs and wondered what had happened. I can up to find the intro to Crysis2 playing and this breathtaking intro cutscene. The game now looks like the video scenes. This monitor is amazing and it has not been calibrated yet. coming from a 1920*1200 PVA screen to this I did not expect this much of a difference. I think the Glossy surface as well as the dot pitch makes a HUGE difference. I am a trader also and I did some work on this today. The extra real estate is fantastic. I have plans to buy at least 2 more of these and tell my other trader friends about them.

I will tryout BF3 and other games this weekend.

Great job Nixeus. Thank you Peter.

Yeah, I prefer working directly with Amazon, as they tend to make things right when things go wrong. Also, this monitor seems unavailable or only available through pre-orders through all resellers and earliest I can get it is early October. tongue.gif

Does Comp-u-plus charge immediately for pre-orders or only when the item is being shipped like Amazon handles it?

Well since the price of these went up to 450-460, I jumped on a qnix for 290. multiple inputs isn't worth the extra 170 to me.

I agree! It is pretty nice... I don't even have to use AA or MSAA and games already looks better than on my previous monitors .btw, I saw you posted that your AMD card saw it as 75Hz?! Did it auto detect it or you had to make adjustments to the settings? I have a Gigabyte GTX 670...

It was just recognized as a 75HZ monitor. Nothing was done on my part.
