Now is the ghosting on the Ben Q mainly when using 3D or 2D? Because I have had personal experience with ghosting and its a big No, No for me. But in my case it was terrible and lots of it.
As for input lag I watched the video but didn't seem to notice anything and I haven't really had any experience with it.
So again I ask. Upgrading from my Asus 24" VE248 to any of this two monitors, will I notice any of those things stand out, such as input lag or ghosting more than it did on my Asus VE248H? That's the money breaker for me right there.

IMO Ghosting is more noticeable then input lag as long as the input (12ms) lag is less then 1 frame(18ms). Where ghosting can be noticeable all the time just spin around in a game, look down your gun sight to fast, drag a box on your desktop.

Edit: But i see you have a 680 so try the BenQ for its 3d if you are into that ,also look into the way to fix the ghosting as the guy said before.

Also the Samsung is glossy while the benQ is matte. So if you want better colors glossy is the way to go, If you are in a bright room where a window will be directly behind the monitor then a matte might be best.
I personally Love gloss, and care nothing for 3d so i would go with the Samsung. If you buy it and you can notice the input lag then send it back and buy a BenQ. If you don't notice it then you just avoided buying a monitor just based on input lag and ended up with a great picture.

So THAT's why my colors look like crap on my Benq and look great on my other Asus VH236 (or whatever it is)

Refer to this thread (http://www.overclock.net/t/1339384/zero-motion-blur-lcd-nvidia-lightboost2-hack-looks-like-crt-looks-like-480hz)
If you get a monitor with lightboost... Theres a way to get zero motion blur.

Very interesting stuff. Thank you much for the Link, I have subbed it so I don't lose it when the time comes.

Is everyone in here retarded?

The BenQ has less input lag. End of story. The other monitor shouldn't even be discussed.

That's not true, at least not in regards to the Asus VG248QE, because there aren't any test that prove that yet, since its release just few days ago.

At maximum overdrive settings prad.de got the following:

Benq XL2420t 4.9ms
Asus VG278h 4.6ms
Asus VG278he 7.3ms

The Benq XL2411t should be around 3ms, but prad haven't reviewed it yet. As for the VG248qe, lets hope they don't continue the trend of increasing input lag.

Sure, if you're retarded. Common indicator of being retarded is thinking everyone else is retarded.
