I didn't get HAWX 2 due to the Always-Online DRM and the fact that I didn't see a demo for it, while there was one for the original on steam.
The Demo worked perfect for me, it was the full version of the game that introduced these problems to me.

Maybe XP is a culprit, also you can just re-download the game.

XP is not the issue, and no. I definitely could not "just re-download the game." I've tried it, many times with no success. Only reinstalling Windows fresh after a re-format was the solution. I believe it had something to do with uplay or something ubisoft integrated in the game, because before reinstalling I had a similar problem with Assasin's Creed (Freezing, etc) and upon reinstalling windows, that was gone too.

The demo caused a problem I could not fix, so for all of you out there who are looking to potentially avoid this problem, make sure you first manually un-install the demo before purchasing and downloading/installing the full game.
