This is a really awesome deal... 1TB cloud storage? FULL 1080p TV? recording 8 shows at once? GIGABIT INTERNET? FREE NEXUS 7?! $120 a MONTH!?!?!? drool.gif Hoping it comes to South Florida sometime soon.

This must scare the living daylights out of companies like Comcast and Time Warner. If it's successful, it'll be a game changer. Here's to competition!

Just wait and see them do the same with TV now. Targeted advertising on TV. Personally I don't mind that. I'd rather see PC commercials on TV then completely useless ads that don't matter at all to me..

But yes, you are correct. It's just I don't think Virgin Media rifles through all my files and punts ads at me?

Just wait and see them do the same with TV now. Targeted advertising on TV. Personally I don't mind that. I'd rather see PC commercials on TV then completely useless ads that don't matter at all to me..

If the outcome is that I'll see advertising with special promotions for restaurants I eat at, stores/websites I buy from, movies I'm interested in, and hotels I might travel to instead of Apple and other annoying commercials, I'll let Google's automated system store my search history and exact location every day of my life. It's not like an actual employee at Google is the one that knows all of that information on me to begin with, it's all an automated process.
