Really good read, thought I'd share it. It makes sense though (or at least in my case), because when I look @ a woman the first things i look at are...you know. But what surprised me is that women do the same thing..

It is slightly surprising women do the same thing, but when you actually think about it they are always comparing themselves to other women so it does make sense. Interesting read nonetheless

Maybe I missed it but what parts are we talking about? Because can anyone really say that breasts (we're having a discussion here so I hope the mods don't over-react) don't actually stand out more visibly on a clothed person? Or am I not getting how they tested this because there seems an obvious issue with prominence to me.

It would be interesting to see if there are cultural differences in this effect. Like if a culture that didn't have nudity taboo's the way modern cultures do would show the same global/male local/female processing. Or cultures that use burka's or industrial vs pre-industrial cultures.

I find it interesting that viewing women locally is portrayed as wrong and in need of correcting when it may just be the way we were designed by millions of years of evolution.

I don't care how beautiful a woman is... it is all about the personality of the woman. Personality can go a long way... personality first and looks second. At leaste thats how I see it. Its a lot like looking at cars, some look good on the outside and I mean amazing, but the inside looks like hell hit it!
