Heh, I've been saying this for years...I noticed a long time ago that any girlfriend I've had, and my wife, will typically only get dressed up if there are other women around.

What do us husbands\boy friends get? Pajama pants, baggy T shirts and pony tails. My wife can disappear into the bathroom for 15-30 minutes and come out just jaw dropping beautiful...and then she goes to work or out with friends. It is not fair. Not fair, I tell you!

She just laughs at me and says she is too comfortable around me to worry about dressing up. Even when we go out she doesn't get to dolled up. I've always assumed it was because the women were all comparing each others body parts, but if with a guy that a woman is comfortable around they stop judging them selves and other women...or at least the amount of judging is drastically reduced. Heh, probably because they are focusing all judging on the lucky guy. Pretty interesting psychological stuff if you think about it.

...that and the debate about crazy women. I say there is no such thing as a crazy woman. The existence of a crazy woman would require a sane one for a base-line to compare against. Thus there are no crazy women. Psychological study of the genders can get really interesting in deed.

After a brief pause, participants then saw two new images on their screen: One was unmodified and contained the original image, while the other was a slightly modified version of the original image that comprised a sexual body part. Participants then quickly indicated which of the two images they had previously seen."

1) How many "sexual body parts" can you see in fully clothed guy compared to fully clothed women
2) Women's clothes tend to be tighter, thus more revealing. Subtle difference would then likely be more identifiable

There is too many variables and the "study" was done way to indirectly to be conclusive, imo.

Yes, women get dressed up for other women. Something you learn over the years. Here's another truth I've learned: never date a woman with a degree in psychology. NEVER. They have a degree in that because they are nuts and want to know what's wrong with themselves. Don't believe me? You are about to learn a very painful lesson.
