I tried everything about rams to see 16 gb but It was ram issue and returned to store. I am good with my rams. When I look at tests for my rams, I see good results. And I can oc my rams to 2133 I think.

The difference between VCCSA & DDR3 voltage must not exceed 0.5V to prevent any damage to IMC. I think this rule still apply on SB-E CPU. Usually when increasing DDR3 voltage, also need to increased VCCSA to improved stability.

IMC voltage is VCCSA for SB-E CPU. In SB-E datasheet, it called "VSA".
VTT(A/D) is voltage for I/O sections of Direct Media Interface Gen 2 (DMI2) interface and PCI Express interface.
Both safe max voltage is 1.4V.

C1 stepping was fine with more VTT, quite a few people who had C1 found when using C2 that voltage higher than 1.2V VTT could degrade the cpu very quickly. I would also suggest leaving VTT at 1.2V or lower if using a C2 stepping 39xx cpu.

I gave it because on Intels chart I saw that Absolute Maximum is 1.4 for Vtt. Should I set it 1.20 MAX?

My RAM works perfectly on XMP and any clock up to 4.9 GHZ with out any need for tweaking - so i'm on - more over in every day rendering situation there is noticeable difference. Also in games which require RAM (like ARMA II) there is noticeable difference

I honestly cannot make heads or tails of what ur getting at?

i am not gonna say anymore except this: I have 16gb Vengeance 2133, if i clock it at 1866 say (and yes i have Arma II) the difference is not noticeable..

You were the one saying "why did you not get decent ram"?......as far as i can tell the ram he has is perfectly capable

and yes i agree he will have learnt a lot from this forum

I am confused about VTT. On Intel charts it says max is 1.40 V . But FtW 420 says more than 1.20 V will degrade cpu quickly.

I have 3 almost the same systems (processor, mobo and memory). Non stop on this site i read that all chips are different and that is not the same etc etc. It is an big lay and in 80% covers misunderstanding and leak of knowledge. Truth is that there is to many factors which have influence on computer and how hi work and is weary hard to follow all of them but you must if you wont an solid overclock. There is difference but is only few percentages - more likely is that one computer is on left side of desk and other one is on right side.
What i'm trying to say -> there is no bad chip - in 96% is something other and if your overclock does't go step a side and watch carefully where mistake is -> the worst thing you can do it is to add voltages.
On this baby 3930 in 80% of failures reason is cooling.
