My new monitor...

Thread Starter
40" Toshiba LED 120Hz. A bit overkill, but it looks amazing. Waiting on the wall mount to come in. Upgrading from an 32" LG LCD 120Hz. Yayyyy wheee.gif

Games are epic insane on it.

Crappy pic, but best I can do with the lighting right now....

I hate playing on a tv. You like it? Pixel density is my thing.

Thanks, guys! wink.gif

A buddy of mine was saying to get something with a higher resolution. He said he hated seeing pixels. I honestly dont notice anything much. I think it looks great. Especially compared to a higher resolution monitor's price. The only thing I notice is the font under the icons and on certain sites can be a bit choppy. but nothing bad enough to deter me from this. I highly recommend it. biggrin.gif

So far, I've been playing MW3, AudioSurf and Diablo3. AudioSurf is wickid extreme!

I also have to remount my speakers on the wall. I'll do that after the wall-mount comes. I'll post pics afterwards for your drooling pleasure smile.gif

Just your typical 120Hz. Thats my standard as of now. I'm not into the whole 3D thing. But I refuse a 60Hz monitor or anything 720P.

The only reason they make 720 screens, is for people that dont know better. They see a flat HD screen for $399 and theyre sold. It's BS. Get rid of 720P tv's.

You know the 120hz is a gimmick on TV's as the input is only 60hz. It is physically impossible to play real 120hz content. All the TV does is double the frames causing input lag. Normally 120hz TV's have a game or auto mode that will turn off the 120hz (smooth motion) while gaming.

You need Dual Link DVI or Display port for 120hz, HDMI can not run 120hz. The biggest real 120hz monitor is only 27"
