Yes. However they can still run DX9 quite well of course.

Each of these will take about 310W on load (read it somewhere... Anandtech or Tom's hardware).

PSU:I recommend 700W or more, but you might be able to get away with 600W. That's iffy though. SLI will require 1000W or more.

Probably no. I bet they will be missing something like the xx0 ati cards were mising sm3. Nvidia is just trying to get them out fast

thats NOT true at all.
ONE card will require 450 W
SLI will require around 700W

The actual G80 uses 140Ws, the RAM, PCB, and other stuff use up another 140 for a total of around 300 at load. You'll need a 450W minimum PSU, 800W for SLI
