Sorry to go off topic, but the newest Sherlock Holmes released by the BBC is a great series. So interesting to watch.

On topic : If you're talking about memory, no, you dont NEED more than 1GB to play new games, but you will get some micro-stutter in certain titles if you bump up the AA and resolution.
