I came here to make a stupid joke about thinking this thread was for real mice and died laughing at the pic in the first post tongue.gif

Edit: I Googled mouse mouse and found the original posting of that image, and there's another image that shows he actually gutted a real mouse to make it. I'm feeling sick now puke.gif

It is limited though, the max speed is calculated by counts per second/counts per inch (which is measured manually by dragging you mouse for 10cm)
Unfortunately Enotus only allows intervals of 200 CPI, which means that 450 CPI get calculated as 400 CPI which makes it look like it is tracking at higher speeds than it really does.

Hmmm....my mouse (Steelseries Sensei) only has CPI not DPI.....so that should make it that much more interesting.

Nope, CPI (counts per inch) and DPI (dots per inch) are the same thing wink.gif CPI is the more correct term. The Sensei is a good mouse, so it should do well.

Uhhh......CPI is the same thing as DPI? That doesn't sound right.
Either way my mouse has an excessive amount of "x" Per Inch.

The main draws of it were that the profiles can be kept on the mouse's brain itself...and it's ambidextrous design.

......also the bottom of my mouse says "CANCER" on a little LCD screen.

If I turn up the CPI/DPI to max...but I wouldn't call the mouse usable at those speeds.

Mice owned
Logitech G5
Logitech Performance MX

Currently Using
Logitech G700 with Razer Goliathus mousepad

I don't know how I could change from my G700 to anything else. There are 4 thumb buttons, the 2 lower ones are just for back and forward. I've set up the top ones for CTRL+W and CTRL+T. Makes it very easy to close and open new tabs very quickly with just one finger. It just feels so awkward to use keyboard shortcuts for something like that.

Here's a picture to show it more clearly
