Razer Naga Epic help!

Thread Starter
So I have had my naga epic for about a year and a half and I absolutely love it. Yesterday Razer came out with the Synapse update to make the drivers universal and work for the naga epic.

Ever since I did the update my mouse does no feel right AT ALL. No matter what I set the DPI to or the acceleration (usually 0) it just does not feel like it did with the old drivers. I am wondering if anyone else who is using a naga epic is getting this problem?

Honestly I am about to just drop this get and a corded R.A.T. mouse because I've heard good things. I never use more than 2 side buttons out of the 12 so I am not sure yet. I am just so frustrated right now.

Oi I just don't know what to do. I am having a very hard time getting used to the way the mouse moves after the synapse update. I had heard good things about the RAT mice but I dunno.

I've always been a bit of a razer fanboy with mice/keyboards so I am not sure what else to look at.

You could always uninstall the Synapse 2.0 drivers and reinstall the old drivers that don't use synapse 2.0. Looks like Razer took them out but perhaps google can find it for you

EDIT: I believe the Razer Naga Epic 3.02 drivers the latest ones before any sort of Synapse drivers.

I was thinking of doing that but I am so OCD when it comes to drivers. Hmm, I've been looking at the Deathadder. I've been reading good things about that mouse.
The new deathadder uses Synapse 2.0 as well, just like every other new mouse from razer. If you're ocd about having the latest drivers it's best to just wait out the whole 'synapse' debacle. I know I am.

Synapse is definitely in "beta", I know I get random mouse lag when I have synapse enabled with my Taipan.

For some reason my text isnt showing up unless I edit...weird.

But I went to best buy earlier and impulse bought a G500 and it's not bad so far.

I know you already bought a different mouse, but I just uninstalled the old driver and installed the Synapse drivers for my Naga Epic after seeing this. To be honest, I can't really feel any difference between the two, though I did have to turn the DPI down a bit. Could you try to describe how it felt different? Too sensitive? Jerky? Unresponsive?

If you're perfectly happy with your new mouse and don't really care, feel free to not reply. c:
