Auction House or no purchase. I bought into the idea of everyone crafting and buying off of others, until it sucked worse than a vacuum cleaner.

I hated every second of the 3 weeks I played it at launch.

When will this be ready! The game sucked at launch but got better before they announced 2.0. I quit before they started charging for it again but they promised an awesome product and the art direction looks awesome!

Such naive posts, really. They're calling it Final Fantasy 14 v2.0 for a reason. They're literally rebuilding the game from the ground up from when they released it. That's why they had it free to play for the better part of a year - they felt that the game was NOT worth paying a premium price for an MMO. Then when they felt like they were achieving what they hoped for with the reworks, they started charging for it.

Believe me, anything you thought about the game, even 6 months ago, has completely changed.

Did they change the targeting system. I"ll be honest I gave it a shot but me and my wife just couldn't get past how the targeting system worked. Was so slow and clunky and required multiple clicks/casts to cast 1 spell. Was aweful, as well as bunch of other things wrong with it but that one was the deal breaker.

They haven't released it yet, nobody knows for a fact how the new game mechanics are going to work, they said they've redone the game from scratch though, so I guess it's safe to assume that they changed it since the first one is pretty bad.
