I know mixing ram is bad and all... but...

I currently have (in my sig rig) this set of ram:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145260
2 x 2GB Corsair XMS 3
9-9-9-24 cas timings
1.65V DDR3-1600

I want to add this set of RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233202
2x 4GB Corsair XMS 3
9-9-9-24 cas timings
1.5V DDR3-1600

Will it work? Does anybody have an opinion? Thanks!

It will work but you will have to set the ram manually to the 1.65 volts. Then it should be fine after that. The ram you are mixing isn't really that different. It is just a voltage difference really. But with anything it may cause a issue but i doubt it. Thanks

Alright, that sounds fine. Will it still run in dual channel mode even though I'm mixing though?? Thanks!
