Any way to screw two 120mm fans together?

Thread Starter
Is there any long screws able to screw two 120 mm fans tightly? I was wondering if it's possible to use radiator screws on them to secure it or any other long and wide screws.

I'm just curious as to why you'd want to do this.

Just get some screws and nuts long enough from your local hardware store. Glueing could be messy and irreversible. And of course there's always the best invention ever: zip ties.
Radiator screws AFAIK are just long M3 screws, nothing special about them (and overpriced really like most things you can buy "specifically" for computers redface.gif ) and you can get them in a plethora of lengths. It's hard to find coloured ones though so you'll probably have to paint them yourself.

If you're thinking on increasing the airflow of a fan by stacking them then you'll be disappointed. But don't let me stop you from doing some dirty experiments thumb.gif

I was able to go to my local Menards awhile back, and buy these bolts that fit perfect between two fans.

As for why, I have no idea why. But I used them as a fan spacer from an old broken fan.

does it double the flow throughput of the intake i wonder? (as you'd have two fans pulling air in the same direction)

i don't know as im not an airflow expert, but i think that's what the op is asking

they can be joined by simple screwing the two together back to back (making sure they are in the same direction of flow ofc)

I was just curious because in the 800D you can mount a fan under the grill in the case so I thought why not mount one on top of the grill and have one under for the lulz.
