[Build Log] Corsair Obsidian 650D, 3770K, 2x GTX670, red/black theme - Page 7

Setting up the 670 for F@h is a pain. I'm doing my own server project case with the new 4-pack DeWalt cordless kit I got for being engaged. Texans produce.

This build looks sweet.

Hey I'm thinking about getting ur fan controller and changing the backplate. Do you see any way possible to do that? Do the little handles come off their stems, or can you completely pull out the levers after some unscrewing?

Let me know!

Yeah... as you can see below, the thing will easily come pretty much completely apart. The knobs are press fit.. everything else is a simple philips screw.

Wowww you didn't have to do that!! I'm seriously thinking about getting that controller once I'm done with my water cooling and sleeving.

Keep up the nice mod work. Lookin sharp.

I'm very happy with how well the housing and the textured paint came out. It really does look like the factory finish.

Docking Bay by Satterwhite.C, on Flickr
I had to carve some material off of the SATA docking bay in order to get it to fit back into the top panel.

Hey... it's starting to look like a case again!

Oh... and the motherboard and one of the GPUs has been running F@H for about 6 weeks solid and have racked up nearly 1.5M points. I think it is sufficiently bench tested. biggrin.gif

That's what I call delivering to the people! The mod on the top 240 shroud looks reeeeal professional If I didn't know any better I'd think the case was like that stock. Brilliant job! thumb.gif
