* What happened?
I browsed to a section with a lot of closed threads in it, where I manually looked for unclosed threads. Sometimes, threads that do not appear as closed in the threads listing, appear as closed when you access the thread. However, even after a refresh of the thread listing, these threads do not show up as closed.

* Are you able to reproduce this problem consistently?
Not entirely, this doesn't seem to be a problem in IE, but it is consistent in Chrome build 148591.

* What steps did you take to reproduce this problem?
Accessed the section, forced a refresh (ctrl+r), and looked for the lock symbol. No symbol on Chrome.

* Any additional information that will help us diagnose the issue: about:version in Google Chrome (Click to show)

Verified and ticketed as #10250. Thanks for the detail, it seems to only be in Chrome for me, as well. Works in IE9 and FF13.

Amazing, can't believe something works in IE but is broken in Chrome...pretty sure that means the world is spinning backwards.
