Hey guys,I was wondering if an i7 930 oc to 3.8 would bottleneck 680s or 670s in sli?

Yes, it will. A 2500k slightly bottlenecks a 670 SLI.

It shouldnt be at all , Just Make sure your motherboard is PCI-E 2.0 and above

As well as having enough RAM

My mobo is a asus p6d x58 and I have 10 gigs gskill 1600 ram.....
I'm being told yes it will and not really and just a little....I'm confused lol

Honestly just Find Users with 680 SLI and 670 SLI , and see what CPU they have.

To be honest your always going to have some form of a botteneck in a system , whether it be your Hard drive , Ram , GPU , and its just how much does it really matter to eliminate it , if it gets to the point you cant play games , and have heavy lag then its a problem.

10Gigs? you sure you're running tri-channel?

bump your oc to 4GHz and call it good.

edit: expand one of the detailed results and you'll see a 920 @ 4.3 competing . . .
