I'm curiuos,
what are you running for cpu temperatures, we have pretty much the identical system except I have a E6700.

In order to get mine to 3.6GHz. I have to run at least 1.55 Vcore and my temps are in the high 50's.
at 100% load using Intels TAT.

Also what are you using for a GPU cooler to get that high of an overclock on your video card you must be using some after market cooling!

Also, what are you using for a fan with that Red Shock?

Regards, hogans.

I run TAT, SpeedFan & Core Temp. They all give the same or very similiar temps

I must have got the luck of the draw. I'm definitely running 1.4125 in Bios, 450FSB x 8 and the temps never go above 52c with dual prime load. They reach 55-60 using the TAT test but that is insane stress

I'm using stock cooler on the X1950XTX, its a monster cooler and extremely effective. idles at 35c load 60c

I've got the Vantec Tornado 92mm (120cfm) on the Redshock and then directly in line with the CPU is a powerful case fan forcing cool air into the cpu fan........very effective.......27-30 idle, 52 4 hour dual prime

I've got AS5 applied to both GPU & CPU

I haven't tried 6xAA with this setup. I tried it with the X24400 and it destroyed my FPS, I'll give it a go later

What FPS do you get with 6 & 16?

I don't install CCC. I use ATI Tool to overclock and ATI Tray Tools for the graphics, my settings are:

AAx4
AFx8 (Quality with full Trilinear)
High Quality AF Enabled
High Quality Adaptive AA Enabled
Vsync off
Geometry Instancing Enabled
Flip Queue Size 2
Texture & Mip Map Level both High Quality

It runs sweet like that but now you mention 6 & 16 I wanna try it
