Is this RAM compatible with the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme?

Thread Starter
Can anyone tell me if this RAM:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/16gb-(4x4gb)-corsair-ddr3-dominator-platinum-pc3-19200-(2400)-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-9-11-11-31-dhx-

is compatible with the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme. If not can anyone recommend 16GB of memory that will fit 4 slots and can run above 1866MHz...

Many thanks.

When it's a name brand like a big company like Corsair, then it'll be compatible. These modules will work perfect with this mobo.

I think you need to check with ASUS QVL, or Corsai Memory Finder. When I check both of them I see that it is not compatible.

I'm beginning to wonder if the Corsair low profile RAM that I have in my rig is compatible with my rig, because it just doesn't boot to the BIOS screen at all. It'll cycle through the codes upon turning the PC on, but that's as far as it'll go, and my GTX 590 will just blink. Everything else turns on just fine. I have a Rosewill 1300w PSU to compensate for the GPU, so I know that's not the problem.
