Diablotek DA300W.

I think the machine i built pulls around 130 watts. It can barely do that.

Some Apevia 680w PSU, was all "pretty". It blew up, caught fire, and took a wall out in my apartment with a whopping 200w ish load (Opteron 165 with a single 8800GT).

I once had a ThermalTake TR2 600W. It's fan never spun and it failed to power a low-end PC with an Athlon II X4 and HD 6750.

Easy, Raidmax Blackstone as an emergency replacement. Sat in my closet for almost a year before I took it back out. Plugged it up outside the case and boom sparks everywhere. Like a mini fourth of July.

Ultra LSP 750w
I think it only provided 520w (if that) on the 12v rail.My comp kept rebooting.

hipro 150w or so (in my sig "rig") the whole machine was in the storage for 4-5 years or maybe even more (came with 98, built in 2001 and the day i opened it had xp pro, no sp or such). power on, some sparkles and a new fuse. thats how it ended. im using it with a 350w psu, which i bought for $5 from a garage sale, and it works for now so i dont care.

The Linkworld LPSW 350W.
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story2&reid=123

In JonnyGuru's test it did 3V of ripple on the +12V rail.

Not 3mV. Not 30mV. Not 300mV.

3000mV

Imagine your computer's +12V swinging from 10V to 13V, back and forth, back and forth. Imagine what that would do to your computer. Now imagine it happening 20,000 times a second.

And that was at 235W.

No contender can match up to this. Not the Echostar 680W. Not the Linkworld LPJ2 500W. Not the Codegen 1050W. Not the Diablotek DA300. Not the piece of junk I found in Taiwan with a label entirely in Chinese that oscillated between 7V and 10V under a 400W load.

Not one of these power supplies would do the type of damage to your computer that the LPSW 350W would do. It is the worst power supply I have ever seen.

I used a bunch of cases in my early days with PSU Included (bestech - Deer - apex -ultra ..etc) never really had problems till 2007 I got my first core2duo system, with a 6800 GTS. Then I heard about JonnyGuru and I got my first Corsair PSU and it's been running faithfully for the better part of 5 years.

looking back on it now, I was pretty damn lucky none of those crap psu didn't blow up in my face...
