Haha, what a coincidence! This was a real good budget build I did three months ago. I still need to buy the 670, the Corsair fans, and a new PSU. The Midi has the white hard drive cages which I will soon drill out for more airflow and mount my SSD and HDD using a multi mount.

Ah yes, I was pretty sure he had a method in that thread but was on my phone and didn't have time to check first. Thanks!

need help with complimenting colors smile.gif

so i have 2 builds coming up and i will be sleeving 3 different PSUs and need advice on complimenting colors for a couple color pairs
  • dark purple and black (by dark i mean deep, but still very purple... almost violet)
  • second, gigabyte orange and black (i wont be using gigabyte, but its the best comparison i can find for the orange sleeving i have)
  • last is i will be doing a skull trail build and need to decide on colors in general... i will be using a HAF X, but idk if i should go red or not (this one isnt so important)

ty in advance guys smile.gif

Color Help Please.

Changing motherboards. The new motherboard isn't a radical departure from the current one, but I think it wouldn't hurt to get a bit more color in there. The few cables that I have sleeved are done in MDPC Black and Grand Bleu. Unfortunately I learned that Grand Bleu is a bit dark when next to black. Especially in a black case. So I think this time around I would like to brighten things up a bit more.

Visible Components.

Computer Case: Corsair 800D

Motherboard: MSI Z77A-GD80

RAM: Corsair Vengeance - Blue

GPUs: EVGA GTX660 Ti

Cooling Fans: Prolimatech Pro- BV12 & 14

Heatsink/Cooling

Yes, another blue/black set up. But that's what I have to work with. My thinking is to go with a brighter blue, like maybe B Magic or maybe even aquamarine. But instead of the two colors like I've done now, add a contrast color. Just not sure what yet.

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

I think the b magic and black would look great. I would go with black vengeance ram, I think that blue doesnt match your board and it would throw off your blue too much.

Agree, especially since the ATX24 is next to the ram. You could also throw in some shade 19 to match the motherboard PCB.
