Also if you do a watercooling loop and use "mayhems pastel sunset yellow" your #1 would look good with those yellow accents. Otherwise if you're not feeling the accent color( and waterloop w/mayhem's yellow) then the option I'd choose #3 with the yellow replaced with the blue. Just my 2 cents.

I do like your second option! And I will be doing a custom water cooling system at some point in the future, I just don't have the budget to do something that would be up to what I want to do yet. Althouguh doing it with that yellow color would be awesome. I like the idea of having it offset a little bit.

I also noticed that of all the ones people liked, one with the gray never was mentioned. Is that something people just don't do? I saw Lutro0 have a couple of sweet ones with the grey involved. Just curious.

I used grey mark II with b-magic, grand-bleu and white for an Asus board, but I am thinking next time maybe shade19 because it matches the Asus PCB better than black or light grey.

If gray can fit into your scheme then it could really look good like WiSK's example. Also gray is a good neutralish color to fit in with four different colors in a scheme. Your #4 was a close second with #3 I just liked the design on the 24 pin a little bit more on your #3.

I was thinking between the first and third 24 pin, trying to make it flow but so many choices! And yeah, they would be good for a Steampunk build, absolutely gorgeous colors, especially with brass piping instead of tubing for water cooling (which I might do, we'll see. it doesn't seem too pricey to do), but I've been more thinking about a light Dune theme.

Thanks for the opinion!

pcb? Printed Circuit Board? I do like the look of the asus boards! I just am not a fan of the shade 19. I think it looks sweet, but without something to compare it to, I think it would be too closely confused with black. I haven't decided between the grey mkII or the titanium grey. I just don't know. I need to decide on a design first before I order. I just don't know what I want to do. I for sure want b-magic and white. Those are my only to concrete things at this point. I am still open to yellow, I am just a little weary of it looking out of place. (thoughts?) I also can't decide if I want black in it or not. I just don't want it to look too dark for the overall look of my build. Here is a ****ty picture of my build through the window. I don't have a graphics card right now because it is in rma. (what a pain...)

Also, what technique did you use to get your non-hs look?

I think I might take the grey out. I don't know. I put a picture of my look through my window above, what do you think? Would the yellow look out of place or weird? I think I might go black/white/blue/grey.
I also can't really decide if the grey mkII would be better or if the titanium would be better. I don't want to over order my materials...

im going to be using the silverstone pp05 short cables in my sff build and its beyond me how much im sleeving im going to need for this project. im only going to be using the 24 pin, 8 pin, 2 pci 6 pin and a sata power. im thinking only 15 feet of the 3 colors ive selected above. any ideas? also, is there a good alternative to MDPC sleeving? just weighing my options seeing as how im never home to order MDPC since the site is down at night here in california.

thanks.

If I were you and was thinking about doing a water loop with mayhems yellow then I'd go with an accent of yellow with main colors of black, white, blue. The reason being as yellow and blue seem to go well together being primary colors and all. If I was going that route I would name my build 'The Macaw' seeing as how those are the colors of a blue-yellow macaw. Other wise if you don't want the yellow as well as a darker feel to the inside go with a white, b-magic, mkII, and maybe a stripe or two of black. Something like this:

or a variation of it. Personally I like the white instead of black in the SATA cable.
Best of luck on that decision. Hope you'll post some picks of the finished product in your build when completed.thumb.gif

This should answer your questions. http://www.overclock.net/t/1262900/frequently-asked-sleeving-questions/0_20

Also you might want to contact Nils at mdpc to see if you and he could work something out seeing your predicament. Nils is a great guy and seems to have customer satisfaction as a primary goal.
