Wonder if anyone is able to point me in the direction of a nice black pump to go with EK D5 X-RES

How about a Laing D5 pump? "This top is compatible with Laing D5 / Swiftech MCP-655 / Swiftech MCP655-B / Koolance PMP-450 and Koolance PMP-450S"

Ah did not realise that the pumps where so big. What re and pump was used in the MKG case? Its a clean simple look that I am

You could just buy a pump you like that will preform well and break out the nice black color paint.

If you want compact and black for a pump, the Laing DDC series is a sure win. The DDC-1T (MCP350) or the DDC-3 (MCP355) are good choices.
