Please help with Ultra Kaze - Page 2

I was actually going to buy the slipstreams first, but then i read a lot of bad reviews about them not lasting more than 6 months to a year. They are cheap, however.

I do regret the ultra kaze purchase. I bought 2 and just gave 1 to my brother, because 2 is just to much for my case. I left the stock fan on my cooler master hyper 212 plus and put the ultra kaze on the rear exhaust of the case. Then I have regular antec fans in the front and on the side blowing in and a 140mm antec fan on the top exhausting as well. My case is staying very cool, so I am happy. I just regret the ultra kaze purchase.

3k rpm is just a tad much, i think it's time you invest in some fan controllers

what is wrong with 3k rpm? since I have the ultra kaze on the second cpu header, it is rarely gets to 3k rpm. It is mostly silent unless I am gaming or using the cpu a lot. I keep my cpu headers set to automatic at level 1 so its silent unless its needed.

Nothing as long as you have fans speed controlled... preferably by CPU/GPU temp. thumb.gif
