1. i have a linksys router that is 802.11g i purchased about 5 years ago. i have no problems with it, but i'm wondering is there any benefit to me getting a newer router that provides 150mbps or higher? i have never understood the need for that much speed since nothing is downloadable at that rate on the internet...or at least i've never come across any. but i'm wondering if a newer router will still be faster regardless.
2. i need a wireless adapter for my PC because i have to put my desk in a new place (i was corded before). which and/or what type of adapter should i get? USB seems the easiest, but i really don't know if that one will be limiting in any way. the desktop will only be about 10 feet away from the wireless router.
