Does this mouse have the famous sensor with 1800 dpi tracking speeds up to 4m/s and a low lift off distance ?
I can get one for 20 dollars O.o

1) Boomslang 2007 is equipped with a S3668.
2) Tracking speeds are reliant multiple factors. The sensor is just the heart.
3) This was released close to the original Deathadder. I don't know how high or low the lift off distance is, but If I would take a guess it's probably higher than you would what on w/e pad you're using.

Is that sensor the same as the first deathadder ?

I suppose. The sensor on a hardware level is more or less the same as your current DA.

Its extremely heavy and the shape is very unusual for any type of grip, so for any serious gaming it is quite useless. However unlike most razer products, it is of very high quality and especially the two main buttons feel amazing

The shape is not awkward or unusual at all, the Lachesis was based around it and I used a Lachesis while playing professionally. It fits and was clearly designed for the claw grip.

Your pinky and thumb should grip on either side up until it flares out, your palm should rest on the rounded part. Your fingers should claw up slightly, but not so much that you aren't using the underside of your fingers to actuate the buttons. You don't use your fingertips with a claw grip, obviously, as that is a different grip style for different mice.

The positioning of the side buttons on the Lachesis are perfectly placed for a claw grip, which is really a givaway to the boomslangs intention.

I had one of these collector edition Boomslangs and threw it on the dumpster. It really is a piece of junk. The shape is bad, the side buttons get accidentally pressed once per 3 seconds, it's pretty heavy as mentioned, it didn't glide worth a damn for me either, I had really no positives to this mouse.
