It is ...

All OCZ SSD's I've owned died.
All OCZ Memory Modules I've owned died.
All OCZ PSU'S I've owned and even sold have died.

OCZ should die IMO.

But can we say that his decision to try it anyway is a wise one?  I mean if it works, then he won't have to spend the extra money.

A wise one... that's just a little far fetched... a safe one sure, the PSU has the proper protections and testing it shouldn't backfire somehow.

K, well I wasn't looking for an opinion on my choice of saying "a wise one", but instead I'm just trying to help him get a feel for whether or not he is ok at least attempting this to see whether it will be enough.

Yeah, by all means, go for it... I wouldn't argue about that... I'm a big supporter of the "hands on" approach... test first, talk later.

Haha, I like that method, you can talk all day until the cows come home (not sure if that saying is popular in the U.S.) but you never know unless you give it a bash.

As i say, I'll ley you know how it goes, i'm just waiting for the 570's to go under £200, they were a week ago until nvidia put a deal offering free borderlands 2 with all 570s and all of the retailers just flatly added £40 to the price, made me mad mad.gif

lol yep, that saying is known here in the U.S., but I sometimes wonder if it's an old saying over here because I don't hear it very often.  I am 33 and I think I learned it from people like my parents and my grandparents.  I don't remember any of my peers saying it.

Another one is "until you're blue in the face".

+1 on this haha, im 29 and cant recall it being used but maybe on old tv shows as a kid, but it sure is known in the USA lol Is it in the UK too or were you catering to us? lol

I always trip out about the global community OCN has, reading people accents or phrases from their country is always cool biggrin.gif
