OP, since it's stable at 3.9, try raising the FSB 1 mhz each time and stress testing it. You'll probably end up with something very close to 4.0GHz.

On mine, for example, at 1.5Vcore, it's stable at 3.99GHz, which is 205x19.5. If I go up to 206x19.5 or 200x20, it'll fail P95.

Like I said before, sometimes a couple MHz can mean the difference between stability and instability.

Did you ever raise nb voltage to 1.2-1.26? (I do that)

I dont see the point as i havnt raised the north bridge, but i tried it before, at one point i bumped everything to their max voltages, my temps and cooling were good still so it wasnt a problem, yet again though it made no difference =/

Also ive tried rasing the fsb x 19.5 to hit 4ghz and its still unstable, i think my chip just doesnt want 4ghz =/

Maybe so..your board is known for having bad vdroop..Do you have LLC enabled?

as was said before...

try raising the CPU NB voltage 1 or 2 notches. It's the voltage for the IMC. I found that as i OC'd... i had to up that regardless even though my NB speed isn't going up.

Also... raise your NB speed, u'll get far more performance out of that then getting an extra 100 mhz.
