If you use a clawpaw grip, join the club. Just post to join. If you want to mention your Mouse, Mousepad, and style of game you play (just to make this club seem legit) then feel free to do so.

I suppose since I started the thread I'll have to maintain it.

Anyone interested in making wallpapers, signatures, etc. please feel free.

My name is pow3rtr1p, and I'm a clawpaw gamer.

Currently using... Nothing. My Kova[+] just broke pathetically, probably gonna get a Razer Abyssus Mirror.

I play arena shooters and skill-based high-speed games in general (and when I say high-speed I say something like Tribes or Quake, not something like CoD in which seeing first equals win).

Rukumouru, clawpaw reporting for duty!

EDIT: BTW, this thread seriously requires an explanation on what ClawPaw actually is (and maybe a drawing) in the original post.

CLAWPAW as defined by Rukumouru (me): The grip is kind of the central/lower part of the palm rests against the back of the mouse and then you hit the buttons with the fingerprint part of your fingers (not exactly the very tip, y'know).

You may think of it as a claw grip with slightly more palm contact and clicking with the fingerprint area (like palm grip) OR a palm grip with no contact on the finger length and very slightly raised upper palm/fingerbase while still clicking with the fingerprint area as usual.

Hybrid of palm/paw grip and claw grip. Clawpaw.

So maybe I use clawpaw.
I use the fingerprint part as you said, and the other parts of the fingers don't touch the mouse.
Of course thumb and pinky finger are on the sides.
But the lower central part of the palm does not make contact with the Deathadder, it is on the mouse pad.
Instead the contact on the rear of the mouse is made with points where the fingers start. I marked these points in the picture below. (taken from wikipedia)

The exact contact points of your palm depend on your mouse size. Is your mouse a smaller one?

The lower part of my palm also touches my moving surface (wooden desk).
