Time to step up our folding effort again - Page 2

Cool. My pc spends a lot of time idle so why not put it to good use.

Do I have to wait for a while until I get the little score thing in my sig?

Well I've got Windows Vista (a ressouce hog), VirtualDub encoding in the background, Napster playing some music and IE running with a couple of tabs... there's of course the AntiVirus running in the Background too.

Really, it does give up ressouces when they are needed... I've heard that some people turn off F@H for gaming, but otherwise it works flawlessly.

DarklordJay- About .001%.. Seriously.. Only thing is, PC has to 101% stable, because it is at 100% load ALL the time...

Nothing you will EVER notice

And on the score thing, once you complete your first WU, your folding name will show up here: (NOT instant tho..)
http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/m...&teamnum=37726

AFTER it shows up (And ONLY then!) Post your folding name in this thread:
http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...heck-here.html

Then an admin will see it, and configure your little postbit thingy.

BTW- This site:
http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...php?s=&t=37726
Is the best for monitoring.. Just enter your folding name (Exactly) in the search box on the left.. TONS of info.

If it's 24 hour prime stable you are golden..

If you AREN'T stable in ANY way folding won't work... But it isn't that hard to get a stable OC...

Btw- I wouldn't reccomend folding with a PC under 1Ghz.. Just too slow for the energy it takes...

does OC.net see me as folding yet... i just started a few days ago

EDIT: and i got a server that should be online and folding with in the month... trying to get an A64 for in it otherwise its just a 1.8 Duron.. probably have to overclock it a little

With the site upgrades in progress, the tool to add new folders is currently unavailable. Once that's back, I'll get everyone caught up.
