The controller functioned correctly at first, but now will not control the fans on channel 5. That is, it has power to the circuit constantly even if turned all the way down, and turning it up has no noticeable effect on fan speed. That channel is running two 80mm Gelid fans with very small current draw, so I know the circuit is not being overloaded.
I bought this on Amazon Marketplace through Frozen cpu back in June, but it actually has very little operating time as the rig has been down a lot doing mods.
It's not absolutely imperative that it function 100% on that channel as the particular fans connected to channel 5 doesn't need much adjustment, but still..... it doesn't work right and no telling what kind of duty the controller might see in the future.
I'm reasonably competent with soldering iron/parts changing if it comes to that, and I'd rather not have the rig down any longer than necessary. I don't suppose there's any kind of fix for this?
