H100 Block rattling noise.

Thread Starter
First off, I know there's already a tons of threads about this but most of them are issues that rattle noise are really loud.
I barely hear it when I have all my side panels on. And I certainly don't even hear it anymore when I use CPU intensive tests since the fans does the pushing air noise. The only time I can actually hear the rattling noise is if I have my ear near it around less than a feet.

I have the same exact sound that my H100 block does from this video.

Is this normal?

EDIT: Also i don't have any temp issues, the cpu runs fine, temps are fine.

If you take the block off and move the mounting plate does it move forwards and backwards?

If so apply a bit of pressure on each corner from the back and tighten the screws until it has no movement at all then put the block back on and see if it has stopped.

If not then RMA it.

Check and see if the block is loose. If it's not loose then it may be the dreaded pump noise/grind. Do you have the H100 plugged directly into the power supply? If so, try plugging the H100 into an adapter then into the power supply. I've read the pump gets too much voltage and that's what causes the noise. By using an adapter you supply the correct amount of voltage.
