By the way, use the Print Screen key on your keyboard to take screenshots. You can also use Alt+Print Screen to capture just the active window.
This is easier than taking a photo of your monitor.
Going further, I recommend saving the screenshot using the .PNG format in Microsoft Paint. Speaking of Paint, if the only reason why you'd ever use Paint is to save screenshots, then do this right now:
- Open Microsoft Paint
- Shrink that giant white area down to something very small (like, smaller than any screenshot you could ever make)
- Close Paint
- Click "Don't Save" (or just press the 'N' key)
Now every screenshot you will ever save in Paint will look nice because none of them will have a bunch of white space underneath it and to the right.
