First ITX Build for client *Please Help

Hey all

This is the chassis the customer wants (tried linking it but for some reason it wouldn't work)

http://www.chyangfun.com/products_info/mini_itx/clint.html?lightbox[iframe]=true&lightbox[width]=820&lightbox[height]=530

I have been asked by a client to build him a system in this chassis and I have no idea how to build an ITX build which brings me to the following questions ::

1) Will a standard PSU fit in this chassis? (was looking at the Corsair CX430)
2) Will I need a low profile GFX card?
3) AMD FM1 vs Intel (z68/z77)

All information would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards.

1. No the psu is intagrated and would be hard, but not impossable, to find a bigger one but chances are it wont be very powerfull.
2. I cannot find any good views of the case, not with the small power supply i would not recomend a dedicared gpu, the intagrated will be fine.
3. intel, no substatute.

anything else?

Edit:
The make sure the motherboard is a mini-itx , and on the case the GPU would need to be a small form facter and just take the bracket off the card and it should fit in, but im not sure how you will connect it, i would stick with the intagrated gpu

How much can you spend on components?

If I manage to switch the client to buying a Lian-Li Q08 ITX ... will that fit a normal PSU ?

eeeeeeyup
You can have a full psu and a single slot (and maby a dule slot) gpu depending on the way it mounts in the case.

I would also recomend looking at Silverstone or Shuttle computer cases.

What is the total price range of the build?

Managed to convince the client to take the Lian-Li case ... now it will be much simpler

Thanks for the warning about the PSU in the original tower ... I would never have known you can't switch those ...

I would love to do a Bitfenix Prodigy build or a Sugo build but I can't find those chassis in my country ...

Once again thanks for the info ... thumb.gif
