TweakTown needs to seriously rework the list of games they benchmark with... Mafia II, HAWK, Farcry 2... Lost Planet 2......... Dirt 3....... boooooorrrrring

I doubt this thing plays Crysis at 1920x1200

Thanks for the up though OP. Looks like a solid performer at a decent price point.

I agree. If I were ranking tech review sites based on credibility and content, I think TweakTown would be like 49th on that list.

Anyone remembers S/A's predictions about Kepler back from February.... That it will Match Tahiti in some games and lose badly to even Pitcairn in others. rolleyes.gif
Guess 680/670 survived the predicament .. but 660 might not.

Have I been holding off for this? What a pathetic garbage card! mad.gif When it comes to relevant games it performs like a 7850 and below 7870!? LOL @ how they bring up ancient games like mafia to make this version of the GTX660 TI look "good"! No AA? Hiding 7870 in certain graphs?!

If this is the version that is released for 300 euro's I'll get a MSI 7850 Power Edition, I am not an idiot to waste my money on this GTX 660 TI.

Hopefully Nvidia releases the other version with the 256 bit bus.

makes things any clearer?

The only relevent information in those graphs is AVP and Metro with AA enabled, we can see that the GTX 660 TI loses to 7870 and will be at 7850 level. There is a reason Tweak****Town chose old games which favour Nvidia and disabled AA and hid the GTX 580 and 7870 in their AA graphs wink.gif

The GTX 660 Ti is a massive disapointment thanks to the 192 bit version Nvidia chose, the estimated price is 300 euro's... LOL, I can get a 7850 for 200 euro's and the performance will be the same at 1080p + AA set to (semi) max. Hopefully 7870 prices will drop and I'll get one of them, will see.

These are the facts, 16th August will shed more light on this so that people who are blinded by false hopes and expectations will even see it wink.gif

Why are those the only 2 games that are relevant? How exactly is avp "relevant"? And tweak town chooses those games for EVERY review, yes it's a God awful test suite but they didn't just cherry pick them for the 660ti

I wouldn't be surprised if this card was launched at 299.99 and then dropped to 249.99.
It is not going to be worth over$300 and I am glad now that I didn't wait and I bought a 670 for my sons build.

I believe just buying 670 would make the pains go away....660ti is a big failure IMO.
