[TT] NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 660 Ti 2GB Reference Video Card Review

Thread Starter
Quote:
The GTX 660 Ti is going to be a fantastic model and we can't wait to see what partners do with it. While we might not like how NVIDIA treat us, we don't let it ever get in the way of our judgment and today we can again see that NVIDIA have put together a great model that is surely set to be really popular based on what we've shown you here today

http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/4869/nvidia_geforce_gtx_660_ti_2gb_reference_video_card_review/index1.html

If more reviews are released shortly I will edit the thread to include those as well so we can have the normal reviews thread that has all the articles. TT released the review before the 660Ti NDA was lifted though.

The first reviews place the 660ti at around a bit above a 580GTX, so roughly 560 Ti in SLI.

Priced around 250, like an AMD 7850 or 7870, performs around a 7950-7970

Hmm, those numbers seem interesting. If the card does come out in the 200-300 range, I will probably end up getting one.

Totally hate TT, their graphs/reviews are probably the worst out there.

Thanks for the heads up though OP.

Tweaktown's servers are melting biggrin.gif
And it seems like the 660 Ti got a 256-bit bus as well...

EDIT:
And this card's performance makes Nvidias product lineup seem completely ridiculous:
690 - 200%
680 - 100%
670 - 95%
660 Ti - 85%
640 - 20%

What the hell were they thinking? 650, 650 Ti and 660 will have to cover a range of performance similar to the gap between AMDs 7750 to AMDs 7870, how are Nvidia going to make money when AMD owns the sub-$300 range and this "mid-range" card will probably end up at $350?
