[TT] NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 660 Ti 2GB Reference Video Card Review - Page 18

Because this review is in breach of the NDA since Nvidia dislike Tweak Town and refuse to send them review hardware. So TT get some "partners" to send them Nvidia models and release reviews ahead of the NDA since they never signed an NDA because Nvidia refuse to deal with them so technically they're not really breaking any legally binding contracts or anything. The other sites will have to wait til the NDA is lifted which I think is August 16 since that is the release date for the card.

OT: This review is pretty useless. I mean there is no BF3, BFBC2, Crysis or Crysis 2 benchmarks and Metro 2033 is the only truly demanding gaming benchmark they gave us. I will wait for further reviews before I decide if I want to pick up a pair of these or not. Probably will anyway but can't hurt to read a review from Guru3D or Toms first

The 7970GE is faster than the 680 in many cases , so saying the 660ti is faster than the 7970 is either disingenuous or an outright lie. The fact of the matter here is that most of the games tested are physx TWIMTBP games which is a huge joke.

I'm sure the 660ti will be a nice product, but tweaktown's testing methods are questionable at best - and their game suite is far too dated to be taken seriously. I would just like a real comparison to existing 680 products in real world testing for what most people use - 1080p in modern games with anti aliasing..

This is in violation of an NDA? I thought this type of stuff wasn't allowed in the news section, just in rumors right?

Mod posted it, maybe a double standard? I haven't seen anything saying the NDA lifted, and there are no reviews from other sites. All I've seen is August 16th NDA lift.
